Team PokerStars Pro Bertrand "ElkY" Grospellier, winner of last year's PCA, has triumphed in the $25,000 PCA High Roller event for a $433,500 first prize.

ElkY stormed through a 48-strong field that included fellow Team PokerStars Pros Daniel Negreanu, Joe Hachem, Dario Minieri and Grey Raymer as well as numerous other WSOP bracelet winners.

The 27-year-old Frenchman was up against some of the toughest players in the world but emerged triumphant with a stunning second PCA win. He said: "It feels great. Last year's main event was bigger but this means a lot. The field was so prestigious and I played very well against good players. This will be a great memory for me."

Fellow Team PokerStars Pro Humberto Brenes came 5th for $70,800 after a ten-hour final table which was broadcast live on EPTLive. The event will also be shown on TV channels around the world as part of the EPT Season 5 series.

ElkY wasn't the only Team PokerStars Pro to leave the Imperial Ballroom at Atlantis a wealthier man yesterday. Hevad Khan was also celebrating after beating a total of 439 players to take down the $200,000 first prize in the $2,000 side event.
