A total of 64 players paid the buy-in of €2,500 to try to become the new Heads-Up champion of the world.

At last it came down to two men, the italian pokerpro Mauro Stivoli and the swede Jonas “Nebuchad” Danielsson. Stivoli chipped away at the online giant in a series of small pots and eventually held a commanding lead, when Danielsson pushed all in with K2 and was looked up by the KJ of Stivoli, which held.

Stivoli took down €65,000 and one of the most prestigious titles in Europe. Nebuchad gets €35,000 for the second place.
